There are wonderful they hold my bed up just enough where I can fit in the picture photo albums and keep them stored I'm out of the HeatWe used these to raise our coffee table. No longer do we have to fear snacks disappearing down the maws of our three dachshunds the second we get up to get a fresh cup of coffee! Our table had a stone top and is quite heavy, but these hold it up beautifully! We use them for my husbands recliner that is an oversized recliner as well as our changing table since it’s low and we are tall. They are sturdy and can handle heavy weight.* 10/30/13 Edited to add that these will scratch wood floors. Just found this out. :/ You may want to add a rug or cloth underneath these, or line them somehow if your floors aren't carpeted. I cannot recommend these now knowing they will ruin expensive wood floors. I don't need the extra space that bad.***********************Original review*************Just received these yesterday, gave me the room I wanted for under bed storage but we had to remove them 5 minutes after going to bed. We have a king size bed that has 6, not 4 wheels/legs. These are a pack of 4....I'm buying another set to get the extra two I needed. Price went up since I bought the 1st set 2 days ago.The problem we had with ours was when we got into bed we noticed we weren't laying flat, we were actually tilting towards the center of the bed? Turns out I hadn't thought to check before I bought these that we had 6 wheels/legs on the bed and that by propping up the 4 corner ones it left the 2 center ones UP in the air so the frame would sag down in the middle of the bed when anyone was in the bed. Thought just propping up on the corners would be good, but nooooo those extra support legs/wheels are important too! LOL would not have been good at all to have our bed frame break in the middle of the night! x_xAnyway, during the time the 4 were under the corner wheels it was easier to make the bed, clean under the bed, place larger storage containers underneath, etc. The bottom of the risers stick out a bit, which is great for support but wonder how long before a stray toe catches one while walking by in the middle of the night. Sitting on the edge of the bed was not as comfortable though, my feet dangled. Will see how it goes when I get the extra ones and put these back on our bed.If you are looking to raise up your bed, these really are heavy duty and sturdy. Just make sure you buy enough for the support legs on your bedframe and I'm sure you will be happy with them.*Edited to add: Added the 2 extra for center support legs after receiving the 2nd set. Don't know what I'll do with the extra 2 in the box since I only needed 2 more and these are so sturdy and heavy duty I doubt I will have to replace any of them. These work great on the bed, my legs still dangle when I sit on the edge but that's fine. These also feel very sturdy and the bed feels secure on them as well. As sturdy as it felt when it was just on the floor...only difference is the height of the bed.I am not sure how sturdy these are once they are slept on. In seldom used guest room so hopefully they will hold up.Now easier to make my bedI purchased one 4-pack of the Kennedy Home Collection Black Bed Risers for my granddaughter's full size bed. With her iron headboard attached to the bedframe, a space large enough for her pillows to slip through and fall behind the bed was created because the bed could no longer be pushed flat against the wall. The bedskirt that matched her new comforter set was too long and she was constantly stepping on it. Having seen a similar product at Lowes, I searched Amazon and found several other brands of bed risers. I chose these based on the advertised claims of secure fit for different styled bedframe legs and strength. I was not disappointed. They were a perfect fit. They raised the bedframe high enough that we were able to re-adjust the placement of the iron headboard so that the space where her pillows slipped behind the bed almost disappeared - no more pillows behind the bed. Her bedskirt no longer puddled on the floor to be stepped on. I knocked one star off for not coming in white. I will note that these risers are, as are most, wide at the bottom and will likely be seen peeking out from under the bedskirt. That's why I would have preferred white, however all the positives of this product make the color a secondary consideration. I recommend this product and would choose it again.I've been using these sorts of bed risers since high school (when I first ran out of craft supply storage space in my room and needed more under-bed space!) and have always loved them. These are not the highest-quality ones I've ever owned, but they work. These are currently under our queen-size Ikea wood-frame bed and give us enough room to put suitcases under the bed and is stable enough for two people sleeping (and not sleeping... ahem) on the bed. There are some design issues which are common to 90% of bed risers: the headboard can't go flush against a wall, for instance, because base of the risers extend about 2" from the bed itself, leaving a slightly awkward gap between the headboard and the wall which the cat keeps trying to get herself stuck in... and while the package claims they're okay to put under just the head or foot up for an angled bed (good for certain health problems), when we had the bed in the head-up/foot-down position, it felt much less stable, enough so that I would make sure, whichever side you put them on, is against a wall so they don't slip or tilt... or better yet, find a different specialty item for angling your bed. Use these just for even raising of the platform.
