The foot rest loves to fly out for whatever reason and hits ankles and shins when you’re sitting in it or just walking by! We’re not rough with our furniture so I’m not really sure what the cause is. I’m extremely disappointed considering I spent $400 on this. I’ve had it maybe for a little over a year.I would give five stars but it came missing a screw, so when I went to recline the chair leaned to the right. Overall I love the chair, beautiful and it came with clear button on the back... loved it. Nice material, nice and firm cushions but not uncomfortable. Great for our baby girl’s nursery. I searched everywhere for this chair, I was going to purchase the Naomi Odelia chair and this one is the same exact chair but cheaper. I was apprehensive because of the lower price but it is beautiful.Updated 6 months later: Used daily, the armrest started cracking from applying pressure when getting up. The seat cushion covering is starting to sag unfortunately. Some dark spots and marks on the fabric right out of the box. That’s why I took 1 star away. Took some muscle to get the back to fully lock down but I’m also pregnant so it would probably be fine for others to get it to lock in.Got this chair to rock my new born baby, got it a few months before she was born. Only used it for 3 months. It started to make a clicking sound looked to see this bamboo look stick pocking out.The chair is comfortable, but very disappointed in the quality of the chair only being used for 3 months. We got this as a nursery chair. The diamonds in the back hurt my husbands back if he sat in this with no shirt on. We cut them out. The material under the upholstery in the arms cracked and broke with weight put in them. The foot rest is hard to get to stick down once let up. Squeaks when rocking and doesn’t stick when reclined. Easy to put together, good size and comfortable.Ok so I needed to update this review based on 3 months of actual use....it’s terrible. I still cannot ever get the leg rest to go back in. Even when I get out, kneel in the floor and press with all my might with my arms...it’s a challenge. So if you’re planning to use it in a nursery, you’ll never be able to put out the leg rest with a baby in arms, if you plan on getting up. The chair is so uncomfortable now. I can feel the springs all throughout the seat and back, and the arm rests must be made of particle board (?) which feels like it’s completely cracking and breaking down. On top of all that, I can’t actually use this as a rocker to rock my baby to sleep, because it’s now so squeaky and creeky that it will wake her up. Overall, very disappointed with the quality of this chair. It looks nice on the surface, but is not worth the purchase. I regret this purchase and would advise others to spend a couple more hundred dollars on a better chair because you’ll end up getting a new one anyway :(————Overall I’m happy with this purchase, and feel like it’s great for the cost! It’s looks beautiful in our nursery. My only complaint is that the recliner foot rest is really hard to put back in after you pop it out. So much that I can’t do it with just my legs! Hopefully it will get easier as I use it more often. Otherwise it’s great.I loooooove this recliner! It’s not big and bulky. So comfortable and very easy to assemble with no tools! Ready to use right out of the box! An added detail were rhinestone buttons that are not very visible in the photo. This baby rocks/glides and reclines to several positions. I’m sure the nursery will be my new hangout spot!Initially I was worried because the box arrived practically open and in rough shape. One corner got dirty but the rest was fine, super easy to put together and seems to work well. Pretty firm, but overall I’m happy! After a few months I have to dock it to three stars. The left arm is loose and pulling away from the chair and the buttons are coming loose and scratches my back, and scratched my baby in the face the other night :( It’s not the best quality but I love the price for what it is.
