My family gave me enough Amazon gift cards that I used to buy new dining chairs. I choose these. My husband weighs 260# so I was quite limited in my choices. These have a weight limit of 300# so they were in my list of maybe 15 chairs that met that criteria. I looked at Wayfair and Overstock as well but these were the ones I decided upon. They arrived in large cartons partially put together. The instructions were clear and even though I am 70 years old with severe arthritis, I assembled them with no difficulties. I was worried about the light color of the fabric because our 9 year old granddaughter lives with us and I could just see spaghetti sauce staining them and our social security budget does not allow for ordering more. So I did get a can of ScotchGuard and spray them following the directions. They look as pristine as the first day. They are very sturdy and don't wobble at all. All who have seen them and sat in them LOVE them. The seat is stuffed quite firmly, they are a soft sit (easy on the bum) but feel like they will not sag over time. I like that. I am very delighted with everything about these 4 chairs. I think that not only will they last through my lifetime but will be something I can hand down. Of note, I am a seamstress and while putting these together, I noticed how they were made (highest quality) and believe that should I ever want to, I could recover them myself with ease. We are thrilled with our purchase.UPDATE: March 20, 2020. Well, my 120# body sat down in my chair last night and the front right leg broke off. Luckily I was close to the table and I didn’t hurt myself too much, nothing broken but certainly will have a few bruises. Since we purchased these chairs 3 years ago, they have been easy to spot clean and I have checked the legs monthly to ensure that they are tight. They do loosen up and need to be tightened on a monthly or at least quarterly basis. But I didn’t expect this! These chairs were picked after I found and ordered my new dining table. I was looking for comfort and sturdiness for the larger members of my family that were uncomfortable on wooden chairs and benches. We love the chairs.Used in dining room, at both ends of table. Like looks and comfort. These chairs were super easy to assemble, look great and are very comfortable. Definitely recommend them!Got a pair of the beige chairs for my home office. I was a little concerned they wouldn't work at my desk, but they are perfect! The style is spot on. The quality seems fine considering the price. Assembled easily. Not insanely heavy which is helpful because I had to bring them in from out in the snow (they were well packed in a manageable-sized box). I was able to carry the parts into my office and put them together in under half an hour. No need for instructions as it was pretty self explanatory, though there were so-so instructions included. There was also an Allen wrench included with the nuts and bolts. I would buy these again in a second - though I can't imagine using them as dining chairs unless you scotch-guard the heck out of them. My kids would finger-print the daylights out of these in a second.I am very pleased with my new chairs. I wanted something that was going to be beautiful around my dining room table, but also comfortable to bring into the living room to serve as chairs for our weekly Bible Study. They are doing the trick. They seem to be well made, but they are a little lighter than I was expecting. Also, the chairs seem to be about 1/2 inch too high...but I am only 5 foot tall...so I'm sure they are comfortable for my taller guest. I am considering cutting the legs down..but haven't totally committed to that yet.The picture does not do these chairs justice, they are absolutely stunning. They are quick and easy to put together, in less then 15 minutes both were at the dining room table.Very comfortable and sturdy! Love them!!
