A: The paint on theses chairs seem to be a semi gloss to me. They aren’t shiny but they have a nice finish that doesn’t absorb stain. Q: Does the paint scratch off ? Or that’s not an issue?? A: I wouldn't say it scratches off easily, but it does chip off in areas of high impact. These chairs get a lot of daily use and stacking and unstacking and some have a few areas that could use touch up paint, but they still look good.
