I just put the 2 chairs together, and everything fit, holes matched up, and the legs are all even. BUT, you have to follow the part about NOT tightening the bolts until they are ALL in. After they were all in, I set the chair on level ground, and tightened all the bolts. No wobble, and legs all tight. Good looking chairs, and sturdy, especially for the price. It DOES take four hands to assemble. A helper makes it much easier.
