There are some beautiful pictures in this book, I got it mostly for browsing, I don't plan to implement any of the ideas. I enjoy looking at what other people do with their outside spaces, and this book has some neat ideas that a new homeowner might find useful.I am a fan of Selena Lake, her decor of outdoor living is basically bringing the indoor outdoor. Her decorating is the same as all of her books, which I have, I just love how she puts it together. I love the photography, I can almost see myself in the garden. If you're a fan of her work, then you'll like the book as much as I did.Reminded me of shabby chic in color. All the examples just looked the same: blooms, vintage flower fabric & various weathered items. I was hoping for some ideas I could use in creating spaces in my backyard and didn't find one. A good example of why I miss book stores, as I never would have purchased this book if I had actually flipped through it. Donating.Selina Lake is one of my favorites! I love all of her books and this one is fantastic. It makes you feel as if you are immersed in a summer afternoon. Just what I neededThis is such a lovely book, especially if you like a vintage, laid back feel and think flowers look as nice in jam jars as they do in a fancy vase.Beautifully photographed (great light - it feels as if summer is nearly here by just looking through it), Outdoor Living has lots of ideas that are easy to achieve and will have you marching off to eBay to find slightly rusting French metal chairs, and wondering how you can fit a somewhat unnecessary shepherd's hut in your back garden.Tea lights in charity shop cut glassware look delightful and I have a feeling the gin based lavender cocktail recipe is going to be a bit of a hit.Highly recommended.Love this book. Keep going back to it time and time again. Full of great ideas and beautiful pictures. Full of feel good facture during these difficult times. I have several of Selina's books now and they never disappoint, her influence can be seen around most rooms in my home and in my small garden.
