Take your time. Lay out all the pieces. Use a drill with screwdriver bit to speed up assembly but set the screws first with a screwdriver to ensure the parts fit properly. The finished chair is very comfortable.Do you like building things? Do you like the feeling of accomplishment? How about puzzles? how do you feel about those? If so, this chair kit is for you! In about 1.5 hours you too can have the Adirondack chair of your dreams for virtually a third of the cost of a pre-built one!In all reality the kit was great in the fact that it came with everything you need! (Might want to use a power drill though. It will save you mega time.) I got the natural wood so I’m not sure how weather proof it is. I’m still picking a couple splinters out of my leg. But that’s nothing a little sanding and clear coat can’t fix! For the price you shouldn’t be expecting Pier 1 quality. But I am glad this was an option since we are on a budget and we are DIYers. Also arrived literally the next day!Excellent Chairs for My porch and they look great. The only con is the assembly the directions are adequate but it takes way more then 30 minutes to put these chairs together. And have patience cause this is a puzzle for sure. But they’re worth the effort.This product was not at all what I expected. Assembly was very difficult and some pieces did not fit. It was so bad we didn't bother assembling the second chair. Wood was flimsy and splintered in some areas.Now I know when a product needs assembly it can be a challenge, but my husband enlisted a builder friend and together they found it difficult. very disappointed.Was super excited to get these chairs for our new home. But as soon as they were put together- we could tell they were pretty fragile. We had guests over and some ended up picking themselves up off the ground because the chair collapsed smh.Don’t waste your time (assembly was a nightmare) or money (I now have some pretty expensive firewood)***Super disappointing
